Peperomia are great pet-safe houseplants. They can survive in medium indirect light and the caperata/albovittata species in particular stays nice and compact, reaching only 8-10 inches in height. They also propagate very easily.
The 'Piccolo Banda' variety features red stems and silver green leaves with dark-green to purplish black veins.
 
Care information:
Bright indirect light
Water by soaking when soil has dried, about every 7-9 days
Peperomias prefer to be bottom-watered because of their sensitive roots
